U.S. Officials Meet Sri Lanka’s Treasury Secretary to Discuss Economic Reforms and Strengthening Fiscal Resilience

COLOMBO (News 1st): Deputy Assistant Secretary Robert Kaproth and the U.S. Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Julie Chung, met with Sri Lanka’s Treasury Secretary, Mahinda Siriwardana, to discuss how the United States can support Sri Lanka’s economic reforms and growth goals and to explore opportunities for stronger U.S.-Sri Lanka collaboration to strengthen fiscal resilience.
