GCE Advanced Level Exams to Resume Tomorrow

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Department of Examinations says that the GCE Advanced Level Examination, which was postponed due to adverse weather conditions will resume tomorrow.

The examination was postponed on two occasions previously due to the disaster situation caused by extreme weather conditions across the island.

The Commissioner General of Examinations, Amith Jayasundara said that the examination will proceed as scheduled from tomorrow, following the previously released timetable.

A revised schedule was issued for the subjects that were missed due to the suspension of the exams.

He confirmed that the examination will proceed without any further interruptions, according to the revised schedule.

The Department of Examinations has informed candidates to attend their respective examination centers at the scheduled times.

Meanwhile, the question papers for the upcoming Advanced Level examination subjects for the next few days, were sent to divisional collection centers, yesterday.

The department added that question papers will be dispatched to coordination centers today.
