Over 1,200 Vacancies in Several Government Executive Services

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government says that there are more than 1,200 vacancies in several government executive services, including the Public Administration Service.

The highest number of vacancies are in the Public Administration Service and Accountancy Service.

The Ministry says that the number of vacancies there is 600. 

The relevant examinations have already been conducted, and based on the results, recruitments will be made for the said services.

The number of vacancies in the engineering service exceeds 250.

The Ministry also adds that the number of vacancies in the planning service and scientific services is 100 each.

A senior official of the Ministry of Public Administration has stated that recruitment for all these vacancies is planned to be carried out promptly.
