Survey of Paddy and Rice Stocks Launched in Ten Districts

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Consumer Affairs Authority has announced the launch of a survey of paddy and rice stocks in ten districts, starting today.

Chairman Hemantha Samarakoon said that reports on paddy and rice stocks from four districts have already been submitted to the ministry. 

He emphasized that this survey is being conducted in response to instructions from the Ministry to investigate and report on the stocks of paddy and rice in the identified districts.
