Transfer of Akkaraipattu Police OIC Approved

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The National Police Commission has approved the transfer of the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) at the Akkaraipattu Police Station.

This decision was made during a recent meeting.

The Election Commission has expressed concerns about possible disruptions to the electoral process, citing non-compliance with its regulations.

In light of this, the Election Commission has requested that the Police Commission take necessary actions regarding the involved officer before the upcoming elections.
