Birth certificates to be issued digitally in all districts

Sri Lanka will digitalize the issuance of birth certificates across all districts in the country.

State Minister of Home Affairs Ashok Priyantha says that the pilot project is currently underway in the Kalutara district.

He highglights that all countries are now stepping foot into a digital world, and Sri Lanka is working towards it as well.
