United Left Front To Support Sajith Premadasa at the upcoming Presidential Election

COLOMBO (News 1st): The United Left Front has decided to support Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa at the upcoming presidential election.

This decision was reached at the Central Committee meeting held today.

The party's General Secretary T.A.D. Sirimal said that 36 votes were cast in favor of the decision, while 16 votes were cast against.

Former MP President's Counsel, Dr. Jayampathi Wickramaratne, is currently serving as the leader of the United Left Front.

He is well known for his significant contributions as a member of the committee responsible for drafting the 19th Amendment to the Constitution.
