SLPP Set to Announce Presidential Candidate Decision Next Monday

COLOMBO (News 1st); Attorney Sagara Kariyawasam, Secretary of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna, revealed that the SLPP will unveil its presidential candidate decision next Monday.

Sagara Kariyawasam made this announcement during a media briefing held at the party headquarters, where he outlined the upcoming process leading to the selection.

According to Kariyawasam, the decision will be reached following a meeting of the SLPP's Politburo, scheduled to convene to deliberate and finalize the party's stance on the presidential candidacy.
