News1st , Sirasa FM, Shakthi FM, and Shakthi TV Shine At 2024 Presidential Environmental Awards

COLOMBO (News 1st); At the 2024 Presidential Environmental Awards Ceremony, News First, Sirasa FM, Shakthi TV, and Shakthi FM were honored with awards.

Under the media organizations category, Shakthi TV won the gold award in the Tamil media section.

Sirasa FM was honored with the silver award in the Sinhala media section of the media organizations category.

News First also received the silver award in the media organizations category.

Several other awards were also presented in the individual sections of the media organizations category.

Zulfick Farzan from News First was awarded in the English media individual section of the media category.

P. Geerthanan from Shakthi FM was recognized in the Tamil media individual section of the media category.

The awards ceremony was held under the patronage of President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall in Colombo.
