'People's Struggle Alliance' formed ahead of upcoming election

COLOMBO (News1st); A new alliance named the 'People's Struggle Alliance' has been formed ahead of the upcoming election.

The alliance includes members from the Aragalaya movement, various civil society organizations, and several political parties.

Some of the members include former Convener of the Inter-University Students' Federation and National Executive Member of the People's Struggle Movement Wasantha Mudalige, Attorney Nuwan Bopage, Organizing Secretary of Youth for Change Lahiru Weerasekara, National Organiser of the Federation of Media Workers Unions Tharindu Uduwaragedara as well as several political parties including the Frontline Socialist Party and New Democratic Marxist-Leninist Party.
