Dengue Cases Spike in Sri Lanka, Western Province Most Affected

Colombo(News1st) :The National Dengue Control Unit (NDCU) reported 1601 cases within the past two weeks alone, marking a significant increase compared to the 2647 cases reported in May.

The total number of dengue cases reported so far this year has reached 26,521.

The Western Province has been hit the hardest, accounting for a staggering 9,772 cases, tragically accompanied by 9 reported deaths.
