Colombo-Trincomalee Train Conductor Injured After Fall, Delays Reported

COLOMBO (News 1st); A train conductor has been injured after falling off the train between the Ganemulla and Bulagahagoda stations.

He is the conductor of the train that operated from Colombo Fort to Trincomalee.

The Railway control room said that he fell from the train while attempting to check the signals in front of the railway track.

He was subsequently admitted to Ragama Hospital.

The Railway Control Room said that, the train was delayed by 1 hour 15 minutes due to this incident.
