Protest against Online Safety Bill at Battaramulla

COLOMBO (News 1st); A group of social activists led by civil organizations held a protest against the Online Safety Bill at the Battaramulla Polduwa intersection this morning.
A group of civil organizations, social activists and others participated in the protest which was held under the theme of "Let's withdraw the Online Safety Bill which is suppressing the society".
Police Anti-riot officers were called to the protest site and water cannons were also deployed.
