Ambassadors of India, China, France, Japan share stage in Colombo on 'Indian Ocean Region'

COLOMBO (News 1st); Ambassador of four world powers were on the same stage in Colombo on Tuesday (12) to share their views on the Indian Ocean Region.

The Ambassadors of India, China, France, and Japan to Sri Lanka were on the same stage in Colombo for the Geopolitical Cartographer Discussion.

The Geopolitical Cartographer is an international research foundation specialising in the Indian Ocean, and the discussion in Colombo took place under the theme  ‘Recent High Level Visits and their Indian Ocean Aspects’

Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe, Former Speaker Karu Jayasuriya, were among those present.

The discussion was hosted by Foreign Secretary Aruni Wijewardane and featured the Ambassadors of India, China, France, and Japan on the same stage.

The Geopolitical Cartographer aims to promote the study, research, and analysis of the geopolitical, geoeconomic, and maritime affair developments in the Indian Ocean, Pacific Ocean, and the connected landmass, which are redrawing the global political order.
