Water supply restricted to some areas due to arid weather

COLOMBO (News 1st); The National Water Supply and Drainage Board warns that the supply of water to several districts will have to be restricted due to arid weather conditions.

Anoja Kaluarachchi, the Deputy General Manager of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board said that the distribution of water to the Kandy and Moneragala districts is taking place as per a schedule.

She noted that the supply of water to the Kurunegala Town was also restricted.
