COLOMBO (News 1st); Seven people were injured on Monday (14) morning following a motor accident in Bambalapitiya.
Sri Lanka Police said that a passenger transport bus plying from Colombo to Kataragama collided with a truck and toppled over.
Five men and two women were injured in the accident and were immediately admitted to the Colombo National Hospital for treatment.
Initial investigations have revealed that the bus had disregarded the signal lights and proceeded to move forward, thus causing the accident.
