33 dengue-related deaths in Sri Lanka in 2023

COLOMBO (News 1st); The number of dengue-related deaths has increased to 33.
The National Dengue Control Unit said 52,021 dengue cases were reported in Sri Lanka this year.
The highest number of dengue cases, 25,945, were reported from the Western Province.
The National Dengue Control Unit said a special three-day mosquito eradication program will be carried out from Thursday (13), focusing on the 61 MOH divisions where the dengue risk is high.
