Former Minister Vijayakala Maheswaran admitted to the ICU

COLOMBO (News 1st); Former Minister Vijayakala Maheswaran has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the Chilaw Hospital after sustaining injuries in an accident.
Police said the van she was traveling in crashed onto a tree near the 107th post in Mundalama this morning.
Three other people traveling in the van at the time were also admitted to hospital.
According to the Police they are members of her family.
