Colombo (News 1st) - Centuries by Paul Stirling (103) and Curtis Campher (111) carried Ireland to its highest-ever Test score of 492, on day 2 of the 2nd Test versus Sri Lanka at the Galle International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.

Sri Lanka replied strongly and were 81 for no loss at stumps, still trailing by 411 runs.
Stirling's inning came off 181 balls and included nine fours and four sixes, while Campher had 15 fours and two sixes in his 229-ball knock.
The pair built on the foundation set by Captain Andy Balbirnie's 95 on the first day, and were supported by Lorcan Tucker's 80.
Prabath Jayasuriya was the pick of Sri Lanka's bowlers with five wickets for 174.
Sri Lanka leads the 2-match series 1-0.
