COLOMBO (News 1st) - China on Friday (08) said it will temporarily slash fees for inbound travel visas by 25% in a bid to draw a greater number of foreign tourists.
China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the measure will apply to all of China's overseas embassies and consulates from December 11, 2023 to December 31, 2024.

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Wang Wenbin said, "China welcomes measures aimed at facilitating cross-border travel".
He said the move comes after China started managing COVID-19 with measures against Class-B infectious diseases from January 8, 2023.
