Liquor Stores Closed Today & Tomorrow in Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's liquor stores will be closed for two consecutive days, starting today, December 25th, in observance of Christmas and the subsequent Unduvap Poya holiday. 

This temporary closure applies to all liquor stores across the island, except for those located within star-class hotels approved by the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA).

The Excise Department announced the closure earlier this month, as per established regulations mandating the closure of liquor stores during major religious and national holidays.
