COLOMBO (News 1st); The Joint Council for Professions of Supplementary Medicine said two MRI scanners at the National Hospital of Sri Lanka broke down following the power outage reported last Saturday (19).
Its secretary Chanaka Dharmawickrama said as a result issues have arisen in examining patients.
He added that only two MRI scanners at the National Hospital of Sri Lanka are operating at present.
When inquired by News 1st, Deputy Director of the National Hospital of Sri Lanka Dr. Rukshan Bellana said measures will be taken to repair the machines as soon as possible.
