Mujibur Rahuman resigns from Parliament to contest for Colombo Municipal Council

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Samagi Jana Balavegaya Parliamentarian Mujibur Rahuman has decided to resign from Parliament.
Making a shock announcement in Parliament, the Parliamentarian said he will be contesting for the post of Mayor at the Colombo Muncipal Council at the upcoming Local Government Election.
In his comments to the house he urged the government to refrain from making any attempt to delay the Local Government Election.
