Sri Lanka printing driver's licenses

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Department of Motor Traffic says that the printing of driver's licenses will resume from next Monday (14).

Commissioner General of the Department of Motor Traffic Nishantha Weerasinghe says that nearly 500,000 cards were imported to Sri Lanka on Tuesday (8).

Due to the lack of cards, nearly 600,000 people were inconvenienced and driving licenses were issued on paper as a temporary measure.
