No Water Tariff Revision Until Next January, Says Minister Susil Ranasinghe

COLOMBO(News 1st): Minister of Housing, Construction, and Water Supply, Susil Ranasinghe states that there will be no change in water tariffs until next January.

The Minister made these remarks while attending a function held at a school in the Tambuttegama. 

He said that revisions to utility charges for water supply review takes place twice a year, with the next review scheduled for January 2027.

He further said that any amendment will depend on any increase in water purification costs and this cost will be evaluated in January next year.
