Public Urged to Avoid Brokers for Driving Licenses

COLOMBO (News1st); Commissioner General of Motor Traffic, Air Vice Marshal (Retd.) Thushara Indunil Fernando, urges the public to refrain from obtaining driving licenses by paying money to brokers.

He pointed out that in such instances, applicants have ended up receiving fraudulent driving licenses.

The Commissioner General further stated that a joint program with the police is currently underway to prevent brokers from entering the Department of Motor Traffic offices in Narahenpita and Werahera.
