Yala National Park Zones 1 and 2 to Reopen on October 16

COLOMBO (News1st); Zones 01 and 02 of the Yala National Park, which were temporarily closed due to severe dry weather conditions, will be reopened on the 16th of this month.

Steps were taken to temporarily close these zones in addition to the prevailing severe dry weather to create a free environmental atmosphere necessary for wild animals during their breeding season.

Furthermore, these zones have remained closed since September 14th in order to facilitate repairs to the park's road system and other infrastructure improvements.
