School Bag Fund Misuse Case Against Chamara Sampath Moves Forward

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Colombo High Court has fixed November 4 as the next hearing date in the corruption case filed against Parliamentarian Chamara Sampath Dassanayake and another accused.

The case relates to allegations that Chamara Sampath Dassanayake, while serving as Chief Minister of the Uva Province, misused Rs. 1 million that had been obtained for the distribution of school bags to schoolchildren.
