COLOMBO(News 1st): Patient treatments at the Apeksha Hospital in Maharagama, have been disrupted due to a technical fault in the CT simulator machine.
Chanaka Dharmawickrama, President of the Society of Government Radiological Technologists, says that nearly 1,500 patients are currently on the waiting list as a result.
He added that breast cancer patients in particular have been severely affected by this situation.
Chanaka Dharmawickrama further mentioned that while approximately 300 patients were previously treated daily using this machine, that number has now dropped to around 200.
