COLOMBO (News 1st): Lanka IOC has also increased its fuel prices following the upward revision of fuel prices by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC).
Managing Director of IOC K. Ragu said the price of a litre of Octane 92 petrol has been increased by Rs. 15.
The company also announced a Rs. 10 increase in the price of a litre of White Diesel.
However, the price of Super Diesel will remain unchanged, as Lanka IOC is already selling a litre at Rs. 600.
Meanwhile, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation increased fuel prices with effect from midnight yesterday.
Accordingly, the price of a litre of Octane 92 petrol was increased by Rs. 15, bringing the new price to Rs. 414.
The price of a litre of Super Diesel was increased by Rs. 50, from Rs. 478 to Rs. 528.
The price of a litre of White Diesel was also increased by Rs. 10, from Rs. 382 to Rs. 392.
Prices of Octane 95 Euro 4 and Kerosene remain unchanged, at Rs. 475 and Rs.285 respectively.
