COLOMBO (News 1st): Sri Lanka Railways says plans are underway to resume train services from Colombo to Kandy in January.
Speaking to News 1st, General Manager of Sri Lanka Railways Raveendra Pathmapriya said steps have been taken to resume train services to Peradeniya and Gampola from tomorrow.
He said Rs. 1 billion has been spent on construction work along the affected section.
