Sri Lanka To Present National Statement At UN General Assembly Tomorrow (28)

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Sri Lanka's national statement at the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly is set to be delivered tomorrow (28).

Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath departed for New York, USA, yesterday to participate in the meeting. 

The 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, which began on the 22nd, is scheduled to continue until the 28th.

This year it is being held under the theme: "Restoring trust, managing transformation: A United Nations that delivers for all."

During tomorrow's debate, the government's stance on Sri Lanka's current foreign policy priorities and global issues will be presented to the international community.
