Assets Worth LKR 35 Million Belonging to Drug Trafficker 'Bathala Heen Mahaththaya' Frozen

COLOMBO(News 1st): The Illegal Assets Investigation Division has temporarily suspended the use of a luxury SUV purchased by drug trafficker Jayasinghe Arachchige Hemantha, alias 'Bathala Heen Mahaththaya' under his son's name.

The vehicle is valued at Rs. 35 million.

The suspension order remains in effect for a period of 14 days.

Currently, property worth Rs. 180 million belonging to Bathala Heen Mahaththaya has already been frozen, and the court has ordered a further extension of that restriction.
