Popular Nildiya Pokuna in Ella to Be Declared a Tourism Zone

COLOMBO (News 1st): The government has decided to issue a Gazette Notification declaring the popular Nildiya Pokuna in Ella as a tourism zone to be managed under the Department of Wildlife Conservation.

Minister of Environment Dr. Dammika Patabendi said the relevant gazette notification is scheduled to be signed tomorrow.

Cabinet approval was recently granted to gazette the laws and regulations related to the declaration.
