Sri Lanka Customs Records Strong Revenue Performance in 2026
COLOMBO (News1st);Sri Lanka Customs has managed to record a revenue of Rs. 1,832.7 billion during the first 8 months of the year.
Customs stated that the target set for August was Rs. 190,274 million, which was successfully achieved by the 27th of that month.
Accordingly, Customs earned a revenue of Rs. 199,629 million in August.
It is noted that Sri Lanka Customs is scheduled to achieve an annual revenue target of Rs. 2,206.995 billion this year.
In 2025 as well, Customs surpassed its revenue targets, recording a high revenue of Rs. 2,557.535 billion.
