Kehelbaddara Padme Transferred To Boossa High Security Prison

COLOMBO (News 1st): Organized crime figure Kehelbaddara Padme has been transferred to the Boossa High Security Prison.

The Prisons Department stated that he was brought to the prison amidst tight security.

The suspect, who had been under a detention order, was produced before

Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragam

yesterday.

During the hearing, the Magistrate ordered that Kehelbaddara Padme be remanded in custody until September 03. 

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) informed the court that 13 prison officials' phone numbers as well as photographs of Seven individuals, including models and politicians, were found inside Kehelbaddara Padme's mobile phone.
