President to Meet BASL Over Judicial Retirement Age Proposal

COLOMBO (News 1st); A discussion between President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and the Bar Association of Sri Lanka (BASL) is scheduled to take place tomorrow.

The President's Media Division said the meeting will be held at 1.00 p.m. following an invitation extended by the President.

The discussion is expected to focus on the government's proposal to extend the retirement age of judges.
