104 Metro Buses Imported To Boost Public Transport Services

COLOMBO (News 1st): Another 104 metro buses have arrived at the Colombo Port.

Metro Bus Company Chairman U. P. Thilakaratne said that plans have been made to deploy these buses on 09 routes connecting Colombo and its suburbs.

These luxury buses were imported into the country with the objective of providing a more comfortable passenger transport service to the people of the country.

He stated that these buses are due to be added to operations starting from the end of next month.

The Chairman also said that the value of a bus is valued at 42 million rupees.
