Sri Lanka's Vijitha Herath Meets Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Manila

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism, Vijitha Herath, held a brief discussion with United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the sidelines of the 33rd ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) in Manila, focusing on further advancing bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.

Sharing details of the engagement, Minister Herath said the discussion centered on strengthening ties and expanding cooperation between Sri Lanka and the United States.

The meeting took place during the ongoing ASEAN-related engagements in Manila, which have brought together foreign ministers and senior diplomats from across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond to discuss key regional and international issues.
