Rise in Drug Trafficking Through Postal Services

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Sri Lanka Customs Department says that drug trafficking has increased via postal services.
Customs Spokesperson Chandana Punchihewa said that drugs are being exchanged through small envelopes and parcels sent via the postal system.
He added that this could be a way used by individuals to obtain drugs directly from suppliers.
