Police Warn Public Against Fake Traffic Fine Payment Messages

COLOMBO (News 1st): The police are advising the public not to be deceived by fake messages requesting payment of fines for traffic offenses.

The police stated that such messages are not issued by the Traffic Division.

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Traffic Control and Road Safety Range, W.P.J. Senadheera, also urged the public to refrain from responding to such messages.
