COLOMBO (News 1st); The Central Bank of Sri Lanka points out that there has been a notable growth in the country's gross official reserve assets.
According to the latest data reports, the country's gross official reserves, which stood at US$ 6,766 million at the end of last April, have increased to US$ 6,873 million by May.
As a percentage, this is a growth of 1.6%.
The Central Bank further highlights that the reserve assets include the foreign currency swap facility received by Sri Lanka from the People's Bank of China.
