Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath Meets Sri Lankan Community in Melbourne

COLOMBO (News 1st): Minister of Foreign Affairs Vijitha Herath, who is currently on an official visit to Australia, held a special meeting with members of the Sri Lankan community in Melbourne.

In a post on the Minister's X account, he said Sri Lankans living in Australia briefed him on the challenges and concerns they face.

The minister had also explained the progressive decisions taken by the current government to address the issues faced by the Sri Lankans living in Australia as well as the future plans.

Meanwhile, the Minister attended a luncheon in Melbourne with several Australian Members of Parliament representing the state of Victoria.
