Special Transport Services Deployed For Vesak Devotees Across The Country

COLOMBO (News 1st);Special transport services are in operation today for the convenience of devotees traveling to witness the sights of Vesak.

The Department of Railways stated that special train services will operate between Colombo Fort and Anuradhapura today and tomorrow.

The National Transport Commission mentioned that buses have been deployed from Colombo Fort covering all provinces.

The Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) has also organized special transport services for the Vesak festival.

The Board said that these transport services have been organized in several areas, including Colombo, centering around the Vesak zones.
