Man Shot Dead In Vettumakada, Kalutara, Victim Identified As Slaughterhouse Owner

COLOMBO (News 1st): A man has died following a shooting incident in the Vettumakada area of Kalutara.

Police say a group that arrived in a car opened fire on a man who was travelling on a motorcycle.

The injured victim was admitted to Nagoda Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The deceased is a 44-year-old resident of the Vettumakada area.

Police further stated that the victim had a carried out a Beef Slaughterhouse as his business.
