Pambegama Records Highest Rainfall as Heavy Showers Continue

COLOMBO (News 1st); The highest rainfall recorded today (22) was in the Pambegama area of the Kegalle District, where 336.5 millimetres of rain was reported.

Kirindiwela recorded 332 millimetres of rainfall, while the Frenrich Estate in Kegalle recorded 291.5 millimetres.

Kalatuwawa also received 237 millimetres of rainfall.

Labugama recorded 224 millimetres, while Hanwella reported 216 millimetres.

Dummalasuriya recorded 215.7 millimetres of rainfall, according to the latest available data.
