Wild Elephant Attack Claims Lives Of Father And Daughter In Wilgamuwa

COLOMBO (News 1st); Tragedy has struck the Moragaha Ulpatha area in Wilgamuwa, Matale, where a father and daughter were killed in a wild elephant attack.
The victims, a 56-year-old father and his 23-year-old daughter, were riding a motorcycle early this morning when the elephant attacked.
Reports indicate the father was transporting his daughter to her workplace at the time of the incident.
The police have confirmed that the bodies are currently placed at the Wilgamuwa Hospital.
