Sri Lanka's Finance, Energy Leaders Meet Russian Envoy

COLOMBO (News 1st);  The Ambassador of Russia to Sri Lanka, L. Dzhagaryan, held a meeting with Sri Lanka’s Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning, A. J. Fernando, and Chairman of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation, D. J. Rajakaruna, on May 13 to discuss ongoing and future areas of cooperation between the two countries.

During the talks, the participants reviewed current issues and explored prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation. The discussions also involved an exchange of views on key areas of mutual interest, aimed at enhancing further interaction between Russia and Sri Lanka.

At its conclusion, all parties underscored the importance of maintaining regular contact and expressed confidence in the continued development of cooperation between the two nations, said the Russian Embassy in a social media post.
