COLOMBO (News 1st); Two suspects have been arrested in Angoda with a stock of ice and heroin worth nearly Rs. 50 million.
The suspects and the narcotics were taken into custody during a raid carried out last night based on intelligence received by the Police Narcotics Bureau.
Police said the suspects were found in possession of 2.3 kilograms of ice and 700 grams of heroin.
The suspects were arrested while transporting the drugs in a motor vehicle, according to police.
