TRCSL to Launch Independent System to Improve Telecom Service Quality

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL) will establish an independent regulatory system this year to enhance the quality of mobile and fixed-line telephone services across the country.

Director General of The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL) Air Vice Marshal Bandula Herath stated that regulation of the telecommunication connectivity at TRCSL currently relies solely on data provided by the service providers. 

Director General of TRCSL further emphasized that the new regulatory framework aims to expand and improve coverage areas for both telephone and internet connectivity across the country.
